A woman on a flight from London to New York who forgot that she had concealed 5U54000 ($8000) in her pantyhose dropped the whole bundle down the plumbing when she visited the lavatory. “She was somewhat bedside herself,” said a Trans World Airlines spc&esmah. A T.W.A. report said simply: “When nature called, the money wait down the tube.” After the plane landed at Kennedy Airport, the woman explained her plight and two T.WA ramp servicemen volunteered to check the plumbing and found the money. The notes were laundered and returned to her.— New York.
