Ghostly tale
The Riccarton Players will present Ibsen’s classic, “Ghosts,” at the Mill Theatre from this evening.
The play was Ibsen’s first success, although it met with mixed reaction when first performed. Set in the 1800 s in Norway, the play features the efforts of a woman to conceal the failures of her marriage and
her own mistakes by building an orphanage in memory of her husband. Ghosts of the past appear. Moreen Eason and John Jefferies lead the cast. They are joined by Judd Millner, Paul Harrington and Jan Arnold. Shirley Caddick is the director.
The play will run for a 10-day season until October 6.
