Marsden trouble averted
PA Whangarei Further trouble at the Marsden Point oil refinery expansion site was averted yesterday. . Some unions had threatened to strike from yesterday, which brought counterthreats of court action by the company, Marsden Re-
finery Constructors. The strike did not go ahead, however, after a meeting under an industrial conciliator, Mr John Button, was set for 2 p.m. today in Auckland. The Marsden Point Refinery expansion site unions have agreed to attend the meeting.
