Two doubtful
PA Wellington Bernie Fraser and John Ashworth are still in doubt for the All Blacks fourmatch rugby tour of Fiji starting October 17.
Leading players were to confirm their availability by yesterday but Ashworth and Fraser will not make a final decision until later this week.
“Both Bernie and John have indicated that they will be able to let me know definitely by Thursday or Friday,’ said the coach, Mr Bryce Rope. All Blacks who toured Australia earlier this season, Gary Knight, Andy Dalton, Allan Hewson, lan Dunn and Bruce Smith are unavailable for the tour.
Mr Rope will watch at the Bay of Plenty-Auckland Rotorua and his
fellow All Black selector, Mr Stan Hill, will watch Wellington-North Auckland at Athletic Park on Saturday. The 26-man team to tour Fiji will be named on Sunday.
