Greyhounds Heather’s Moon wins trophy
Heather’s Moon showed courage to win the America’s Trophy Final at the Christchurch Greyhound Racing Club’s on course totalisator meeting at Queen Elizabeth II Park last evening. Challenged by Taurean Sky for most of the way, Heather’s Moon slipped away half way down the straight and held on strongly to win by a halflength from Taurean Sky, with Aeras Havoc coming strongly for third, 3/4 lengths back. The favourite, Tequila Khan, jumped well, but managed fourth place. The Mirage Recordings Trophy for the best performance of the night went to Lady Wakanui. A.W.A.
