S.A. rugby tour on

NZPA-Reuter Bonn A multiracial South African rugby squad has arrived in West Germany for a two-week tour of four friendly games. Hans Baumgaertner, the president of the West German Rugby Federation, which protested against a West German rugby team's visit to South Africa last year, said the federation had approved the visit of the Barbarians team from Pretoria. He said the squad comprised 12 whites, five blacks and eight players of mixed race. The games were perfectly

normal sporting contests and as South African rugby was world-class “we can only learn from them," he added. The Barbarians will play four West German club sides. They open their programme today against the Bonn S.C. team.
