Wool Board awards
PA Wellington The Wool Board’s annual F. R. Callaghan awards are available again. For the last few years the board has made awards to provide for research, education, or travel which will be to the benefit of the wool industry. The awards are named for a scientific adviser who worked for the wool board for 18 years, until he was 83. The board’s wool production manager, Mr Lance Wiggins, said that academic qualifications were not necessary for the awards, and there was no age limit. Applications will close on October 5.
