Duties will be mainly teaching various aspects of traffic education in primary and secondary schools and also considerable Involvement in programmes for adults. These duties demand a high level of concentration and the applicant should be prepared to undergo a period of training involving study of teaching and practices, human development, the community, traffic law and procedures; also traffic enforcement as and when required. A flexible manner of thinking is of value and proven ability to carry out higher level studies is desirable but not essential. Minimum Qualifications: Age 21 years. A current motorcar licence. At least three years secondary education. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a medical examination and complete a basic Traffic Officers’ Enforcement course. Commencing salary will be dependent on previous experience and qualifications.
