Highland conference
The Mayor of Christchurch, Sir Hamish Hay, will open the Academy of Highland Dancing conference in Christchurch on Saturday. The host for the conference will be the Balmoral Club of Highland dancing teachers and judges.
The president of the club, Mrs Adrienne Haberfield, said that more than 150 members, and delegates were expected to attend the conference, which is being held at Foodstuffs, Christchurch, Ltd.
