Motukarara stake $l0,000
The Lord Module Supporters’ Handicap, the feature race at the Banks Peninsula Trotting Club’s spring meeting at Motukarara on October 6, will carry a stake of $lO,OOO. When the club first announced the staging of the 2200 m invitation race, a minimum stake of $9OOO was suggested. Thanks to additional sponsorship, an extra $lOOO has been applied. Stakes totalling $40,100 will be paid, compared with $35,500 last year when a full stake was paid for each division of a maiden race.
