Clear Gold moves
PA Auckland Clear Gold, an outstanding galloper over 1600 m, is to join Colin Jillings’ stable at Takanini. Clear Gold, a six-year-old gelding, trained until now by lan and Paula Morton, of Taneatua, Bay of Plenty, was successful only once last season, in the $52,500 Flag Inns Trophy at Ellerslie. As a four-year-old he won six of his only nine races.
