NZPA-AAP Sydney Australian sharemarkets closed easier yesterday but off their lows in subdued business with resource stocks under some selling pressure and industrial issues generally firm. The all ordinaries index fell 0.9 points to 734.8, the all industrials marker rose 2.5 to 1029.6 -and the all resources index fell 3.3 to 504.6.
