4WD Shuttle confirmed
A four-wheel-drive Honda Shuttle in New Zealand is fact not fantasy. Last week I reported that two examples of the Honda Shuttle in 4WD form were rumoured to have been air freighted to Christchurch from Japan “at vast expense.” It was also reported that they had been driven down to the Mackenzie Country, presumably for appraisal in wintry conditions. Now a skier, who was at Coronet Peak earlier this month, has confirmed that he saw a Shuttle, finished in dark grey metallic paint and with the 4WD emblem on its flanks, being the centre of attention for a Japanese film crew at Queenstown’s ski-field.
Front-wheel-drive versions of the Shuttle will be launched in New Zealand by NZMC, Ltd, shortly.
