Role for N.Z. actor
PA Auckland Bruno Lawrence will have a part in the Australian movie, “Indecent Obsession,” a film based on the book by the best-selling novelist, Colleen McCullough. The film director, Rod Hardy, flew from Australia to persuade Lawrence to take the role of Matte Sawyer, a blind former soldier. Lawrence will fly to Sydney next month to rehearse the film and will return to New Zealand in November after six weeks shooting on Lord Howe Island.
