“Close Up,” on One at 8.30 Ei.m. tomorrow, will have a wo-part investigation of unemployment and the way the new Government is responding to a problem that will not go away. Six months ago "Close Up” showed the story of the first few days in the Navy for three young unemployed Hhs. They were part of a new experiment to use the armed services as a work skills training ground
) for the jobless. This week i “Close Up” returns to tell . how they and others on the f course made out as limited 5 services volunteers. i Part two will continue the story of unemployment with > a house-to-house survey of j the street where one of i those unemployed volun--1 teers lives. The results show i that in some Porirua streets j one out of every two houses i has someone looking for I work.
