Old ritual killing unearthed
NZPA-Reuter Wilmslow British archaeologists have unearthed the preserved body of a man they say may have been the victim of a ritual killing .more than 1000 years ago. The man, discovered in a pea/ bog near Wilmslow,
North-West England, still has most of his skin, hair, and main internal organs. Tests show he lived before 985 A.D. Signs of noose marks on his neck and many broken bones might point to some form of sacrifice to “Mother Earthy” said archaeologists
