Banks Peninsula T.C. in December

The Banks Peninsula Trotting Club has substituted its customary Banks Peninsula Trotting Cup at its spring meeting for a pacers OC invitation race (C 8 and C 9 eligible) over 2200 m with a minimum stake of $9OOO. However, the popular Banks Peninsula Trotting Cup for fast-class trotters has been dropped by the club. This event over 2800 m will now be run at the club’s Christmas meeting on December 22. Stake announcements for other classes at the club’s spring meeting on October 6 Three CO paces: $3lOO against $2700 last year. Two Cl paces: $3300 ($3OOO last year). A C2 pace: $3600 ($3200 last year). A C 3 pace: $4200 ($3500 lact A y CO trot: $3lOO ($2700 last year). A Cl trot: $3300 ($3OOO last year). . The club has deleted a race for C 4 pacers frgm its programme from lasryear.
