Family karate gradings
The Seido Karate Club in Barbadoes Street will be holding a black belt grading with a difference tomorrow. It has a distinctly family nature. Allison Boyle is attempting to gain her black belt, and if she does she will join her husband, Brian, as the fifth husband-and j wife com-
bination to have done so at Seido Christchurch. Also going for their first dan promotions are the brothers, Eden and Damon Thompson. If the boys get their promotion they will be the third set of brothers to do so at the Christchurch branch.
