CONTRACT NO. 52-84/85: Canon Street Kerbs and Channels, etc. (Bishop Street to Manchester Street) Construction of approximately 200 m of new kerb and flat channel, 184 m of 300 dla. and 26m of 375 dla. under channel piping together with the associated bituminous hotmlx paths, grassed berms and road shoulder formation and sealing. CONTRACT NO. 53-84/85: Clifton Terrace Kerbs and Channels, etc. Uphill from Ist Hairpin for 185 m. Construction of approximately 270 m of kerb and flat channel, 125 m of special hill channel, 350 sq m of bituminous hotmlx paths and 440 sq m (face area) of crlb-retaln-Ing wall with associated safety fence and stormwater piping. CONTRACT NO. 56-84/85 Reconstruction of Part McCormacks Bay Road and Glenstrae Road Approaches. The construction of 5400 sq m of carriageway formation, metalling and chip sealing, 430 m of new kerb and flat channel together with the associated stormwater drainage works, hotmlx paths and grassed berms. CONTRACT NO. 26-84/85: Construction of the Emergency Access/Perimeter Road and Ancillary Works, Christchurch International Airport (a) The construction of a 4.5 m wide, 2.63 km long carriageway comprising approximately 12,400 sq m of 375 mm depth metal courses with chip sealed surface. (b) 900 sq m of sealed car park, and (c) The regrading, grassing, etc. of approximately 2.5 ha of airfield together with minor stormwater drainage works. CONTRACT NO. 57-84/85: The Hotmlx Overlay of the No. 2 Hangar Apron at Christchurch International Airport. Reconstruction of 3500 sq m of pavement top course and sealing Asphaltic Concrete overlay of 8300 sq m of pavement nominally 40mm compacted depth (890 tonnes) together with stormwater drainage works 225 dla.-450 dla. piping, slot drains, sumps, etc. Tender documents for these works will be available from Wednesday, August 15,1984 at the City Works and Planning Department, 2nd Floor, Civic Offices.
