Don Taylor and Gordon Rodley upset the favoured combination of Tom Tyler and Jake Reader to win the men’s event in the Canterbury veterans’ winter tennis tournament at Wilding Park. Murray and S. Harris. Mixed doubles: Group one.— W. Marr and J. Goodall beat E. Roberts and D. Scott. Group two.— W. Thom and J. Davidson beat E. Ogier and D. McKinnel.
