Ageing to be studied
PA Wellington The National Council of Adult Education has established a working party on ageing and education.
The working party would aim to help older people take part in community activities and help young
people develop attitudes towards ageing, said the council’s acting president, Dr David Guy.
He said the move followed up the recommendations of a Social Advisory Council report on “Ageing in New Zealand — The Extra Years.”
