‘Blind rage’

A Spanish farmworker stabbed to death the wife of a Spanish member of Parliament and another woman at a job centre in Barcelona after going into a rage because he was out of work, the police said. A third woman who worked at the centre was badly wounded. The attacker, Victorio Gomez Arevarillo, aged 44, later surrendered to the police and said he carried out the attack “in a moment of blind rage, because he was out of work,” the police said.—Barcelona.
