Education programme on asthma
PA Wellington An education programme to help teachers identify and cope with asthmatic pupils has been proposed by the new Minister of Education, Mr Marshall. Mr Marshall, at a function marking asthma awareness week, was presented with a pamphlet by the Asthma Society called “A Teacher’s Guide to Asthma.” Mr Marshall said there was very few people not affected by asthma in some way and as Minister he would like to set up an education programme to enable teachers to identify pupils suffering from the breathing disorder and respond sensitively to the situation.
