Cable strike over
A strike by 190 workers at Austral Standard Cables at Homby ended yesterday when the company reinstated a worker whose dismissal had led to the strike. The workers met at 8 a.m. and resolved to step up their industrial action with pickets and bans unless the company reinstated the night shift worker dismissed after he allegedly urinated
