Big ANI order
Australian National Industries, Ltd, (ANI) has gained an order for the design, supply and commissioning of electric locomotives for the Queensland railways. The order is worth almost sAustlooM for a total of 76 locomotives, with delivery to commence in mid--1986. A substantial portion of the business will be done by Comeng, a subsidiary of ANI, at its Queensland facilities in Brisbane, with various subcontracting activities throughout Queensland.
