Housing Corp, issues
PA Wellington Housing Corporation plans to raise money through public stock' issues will top the corporation’s list of priorities to Ee discussed with the incoming Minister of Housing this week. The corporation's assistant director-general, Mr Don Cattanach, said that if the Minister confirmed the issue would go ahead, interest rates would be discussed, and the issue would be put on the market next month. The outgoing Minister of Housing, Mr Tony Friedlander, announced in April that the corporation would have regular public issues of investment stock to finance home loans. The first issue was due in August. But the snap election and change of Government delayed plans.
