One-shear ewes sell well
while one-shear ewes came up to sellers’ expectations at the Ashburton one-shear and fine wool breeding ewe winter sale this week, the mixed age and one-vear sheep lacked the edge of last week’s Addington sale. The top price of $43 for oneshear ewes went to Mr B. J. Molloy. Mixed age ewes were on average $1.50 to $2.50 less than Addington. Prices.— One-shear L. H. Frost, 80 Romneys, $33; S. N. and T. N.
