No test for Mr Lange
PA Wellington The leader of the. Opposition, Mr Lange, has decided not to attend the rugby test between the All Blacks and France at Auckland today because of pressure of work. A brief statement from his office last evening said that Mr Lange had sent his
apologies to the New Zealand Rugby Union. The Prime Minister, Sir Robert Muldoon, a former Labour member of Parliament, Mr John Kirk, and a member of the Canterbury Rugby Union accused Mr Lange of politicking at- f last Saturday’s test at Lancaster Park.
