Donaldson out

PA Wellington The former All Black half-back, Mark Donaldson, is still troubled by a knee injury and will miss Manawatu’s rugby clash with New South Wales in Palmerston North tomorrow.

Donaldson’s place will be taken by a former Wanganui player, Murray Kendrick.

The Manawatu All Black forwards, Mark Shaw and Gary Knight, will miss the match as they are being given time to recover from the second test against France.

The coach, Graham Hamer, has dropped four of his team which laboured to an 18-14 win over Wanganui recently.

The Manawatu team is: Mark Findlay; Ken Granger,

Graham Turley, Craig Loach; Ross Bilecki, Paul Duncan; Kendrick; Rod Parsons; John Fisher, Murray Rosenbrook, Braedon Whitlock, Jay Jay Atuhiva; Roy Gaskin, Bruce Hemara (captain), Terry Clare.

© The former Argentinian international, Enrique Rodriguez, is having a tough introduction to Australian rugby.

The former Pumas forward, who moved to Australia earlier this year, has already toured Fiji with the Wallabies and tomorrow will play his third consecutive match for New South Wales.

Rodriguez has been named as loose-head prop for his team’s final tour match against Manawatu. New South Wales beat Waikato but lost to Counties.
