NATURAL GAS CORPORATION COMMERCIAL OFFICER - WELLINGTON NATURAL GAS CORPORATION (NGC) was formed as a State Corporation in 1967 to purchase, treat, transport and market gas from the Kapuni Field and from other sources within or beyond New Zealand. On the formation of the Petroleum Corporation of New Zealand Limited, the Parent Company of the Petrocorp Group, NGC became a wholly owned limited liability company within the Petrocorp Group of Companies. We are seeking to appoint a Commercial Officer who will have responsibility for: ® NGC’s pricing negotiations for large gas contracts, as well as certain other pricing negotiations. © Negotiations of sale an supply contracts - these will initially relate to NGC but could expandd to include the negotiation of certain other group sale/ supply contracts. ® Representing NGC in industry and to contracting parties. It is also envisaged that the appointee will assume group responsibilities in this area. © NGC administration. This is an important and key role which will require a sound commercial background including proven negotiating skills. It is unlikely that someone with less than 5 years relevant commercial experience will have the necessary background to successfully carry out the demands of this position. ACA or similar qualification is necessary. The appointee will report to NGC’s Assistant General Manager and will also be required to work closely with the parent company’s Company Secretary.
