Sydenham seat
Sir,—ln reply to B. R. Hansen, the right of recall was official Labour policy, however, upon their election to office in 1935 it was abandoned. The late John A. Lee reminded them forcibly of this with dire results to himself. No member of Parliament should be able to declare himself anything else except what he is voted to represent. Sydenham is no longer represented in Parliament. It is about time this law was reintroduced. It applies in the United States; if in doubt ask Richard Nixon.—Yours, etc., J. C. KING. June 22, 1984.
