McCormick on record
Gary McCormick and Hammond Gamble return to the Star and Garter Tavern on Wednesday evening for another session of wit, blues, and poetry — but with a difference. This time the show is to be recorded on video tape, and McCormick is hoping to interest Television New Zealand and overseas companies in the results of the performance. McCormick has set up a video company and was looking for an intimate venue for the show, and after the reaction of the Christchurch crowds to last month’s shows by the two men, they decided to record at the tavern.
