Fog’s effects linger

Two Air New Zealand domestic flights were cancelled yesterday morning because the aircraft due to fly had not been able to land in Christchurch the previous evening because of thick fog. The cancelled flights were the first morning flights to Auckland and to Dunedin.

All other flights left on schedule after the fog cleared about 6.30 a.m. Passengers on the 10 domestic flights which were cancelled on Tuesday were all rebooked and carried to their destinations yesterday morning.
