Comfortable golf win

NZPA special correspondent Rarotonga

The Auckland golf professional, Frank Nobilo, yesterday won the $20,000 Cook Islands Golf Championship at Nikao by four strokes from the Hastings professional, Barry Vivian.

Nobilo, who won $4OOO, finished 16 under on 191 after 54 holes. Vivian finished on 197. Pat Mateer was third on 198.

On Saturday Nobilo broke the 69-shot course record by seven strokes with a 62, and yesterday Mateer equalled the new record.
