Long-term compo up
PA .Wellington Long-term accident victims would receive an increase in their weekly accident compensation payments from next month, said the Minister of Labour, Mr Bolger,, yesterday. Payments would increase 2.24 per cent on July 25 for those whose accident occurred on-Or before November 15,11983, and who still V
received compensation, he said. This included the dependants of people killed in accidents.
The increase reflected the rise in the average weekly wage rate for New Zealand for the six months to February, 1983, Mr Bolger said. The increase did not affect the maximum amount of earnings-related compensation, which remained at ?700 a week.
