Picture road signs?
Signposting on New Zealand roads may soon become uniform and set to international standards. Delegates at the association conference decided yesterday to recommend that the National Roads Board standardise its road signs. Councillors of Egmont
County, wh - ' jut forward the road s : . remit, said that many tourists to New Zealand were confused by the road signs. With the emphasis on promoting tourism, the council said that tourists would enjoy more relaxing holidays if they were guided by road signs they understood.
