PA Wellington The New Zealand Temperance Alliance is calling again for bars to close for 90 minutes every evening to ease the country’s alchol problems. New Zealand is “sinking further into an alcohol crisis of frightening dimensions” and little is being done to reverse the trend, says the general secretary of the alliance, Mr T. J. Quayle.
