Arrests after assault
Two men have been arrested in connection with the assault and robbery of a man, aged 42, in Linwood Avenue on June 6.
Detective Senior-Sergeant Roger Carson said that one of the men was arrested on Friday evening and charged with assault. Another was arrested and charged with stealing, from behind the Christchurch Cathedral, the Morris 1100 used in the robbery. Detective Senior-Sergeant Carson said that both men were aged about 20. The police were still seeking another man in connection with the robbery.
