Soviet leaves
A Soviet mathematician who was the centre of a minor diplomatic incident has left the United States after assuring American officials he was returning of his own free will. Sergei Kozlov, who had refused to leave the United States, left Dulles aboard a special Aeroflot flight that was taking Soviet embassy personnel back to the Soviet Union. Mr Kozlov provoked a diplomatic incident at Dulles when he had refused to board an aircraft with another Soviet citizen.—Washington.
