Religious survey
Sir,—l can see Arthur May’s point (June 1) but he goes overboard. Education based on rationalism leads to another indoctrination. Kant served his purpose and will be remembered, but our modern medicine and approach to patients have proved inadequate with all this rationalism. Being freed from indoctrination gives people the freedom to find out for themselves. It is a matter of rediscovery, not hiding under the mat but coming to terms.—Yours, etc., H. E. VANDENBERG. June 1, 1984.
