Girl knifed in street
A girl, aged about 16, suffered a minor stab wound after a fight with another girl outside Wizards Amusement Centre in Gloucester Street about 9.30 p.m. yesterday. The injured girl was taken to Christchurch Hospital by ambulance for treatment. Detective Senior-Sergeant A. G. I. Rodgers said late last evening that the police were interviewing several witnesses to the stabbing, and were seeking another girl in connection with the incident.
