Aust, shuttle test
Australian defence scientists will participate in a United States space programme in August, the Defence MinEter, Mr Gordon Scholes, said. America’s National Aeronautics and Space AdminEtration had chosen an Australian defence experiment for a role in a N.AS-A. space shuttle radar programme, he said. The experiment entailed measuring the sharpness and quality of maps made using shuttle radar—Canberra.
