Aust. sprinter for stud

PA Hastings Fiesta Star, conqueror of the brilliant Rancher and a son of Luskin Starr, has arrived in Hastings to take up stud duties at Mr Arthur Ormond’s Byerley Thoroughbreds Stud, Raukawa. The top-class Star King-dom-line sprinter is a stakes winner of six races and over sAust6o,ooo in stakes. He started racing as a

two-year-old and had his last start as a four-year-old when third in the V.R.C. Gold Stakes (1400 m at Flemington on March 24 this year. He knocked one of his legs in that race and it was then decided to retire him to stud. Mr Ormond has bought the horse in partnership with the Hawke’s Bay owner-breeder. Mr MurrayAndersen. r
