Bahrein with R. Brosnan

Bahrein will be making his debut from the Kerrytown stable of Richard Brosnan when he contests the Gordon’s Gin Pace, the second leg of the T.A.B. double, at the Timaru Trotting Club’s meeting on Saturday. The Smooth Fella gelding, a half-brother to Derby (11 wins from 18 starts from Brosnan's table), Bahrein was previously trained at West Melton by Robert Dunn and Paul Black to win four races.

A winner at Addington Raceway over 2000 (mobile) in a sharp 2min 31.7 s in October, Bahrein was spelled soon after and will be having his first start for over sejien months on Saturday.
