Unlucky break
Pamela Bellwood, who plays Claudia in “Dynasty” (One, tonight), has had bad luck lately. When she was in Paris she attended a party held in her honour and slipped down a flight of stairs, breaking her thumb. She was again injured while on location in a Los Angeles Park for a “Dynasty” episode.
Because the park was doubling for Peru, a llama was brought in for authenticity. Pamela Bellwood arrived at the park, and as she stepped out of her taxi, the director gave the llama his cue.
“Go!” he yelled — and the confused taxi driver stepped on the accelerator and went, knocking Miss Bellwood to the ground. This time the actress suffered bruises, not breaks.
