Duel challenge

A former Uruguayan VicePresident, Alberto Abdala, has challenged a journalist in Montevideo to a duel for writing an article about him which he considered offensive. Duelling is not illegal in Uruguay. Under a 1920 law each side must choose two witnesses who meet to select a court which decides whether the duel should take place. The last time a duel was fought in Uruguay was in 19U. Neither man was killed.*Monte video.
