Chch report, prices
Most wool types rose in price 2.5 per cent at the Christchurch wool sale yesterday, according to the official report on the Christchurch section of a combined sale with Timaru wools. The report was issued by the Christchurch Woolbrokers’ Association in conjunction with the Wool Board and the Council of Wool Exporters. The Christchurch offering was 10,241 bales of growers’ wool. The Wool Board was not required to support the market. Prompt date for the sale is Tuesday, May 29.
