Freedom from hunger

Sir,—l am sad that Susan Taylor (May 4) is unable to do as I have done in recent months and visit the areas of South Africa that Allister Sparks of the London “Observer” claims he writes about. I have never read such distorted or twisted comments as those of Allister Sparks published in “The Press” on May 3. Susan Taylor should cease praying about me, and pray that New Zealanders are given factual news from abroad, not distorted views of someone who would appear to have nothing in common with loyal New Zealanders. — Yours, etc., BERT WALKER. May 6, 1984.
