Efficiency move
The Sudanese President, General Jaafar Nimeiri, has retired 15 State Security officers because of inefficiency and to improve the department’s performance, the Sudan News Agency said. The move follows General Nimeiri’s declaration of a state of emergency recently and the subsequent sacking of a third of his Ministers in a major Cabinet shakeup.—Khartoum.
