Director adjudged bankrupt
PA Auckland A director of the failed Graphics Holdings, Credit-men-Duns and Corporate groups of companies, Mr Michael John Butler, has been adjudged bankrupt. Mr Butler did not appear in the High Court at Auckland when Mr Justice Chilwell made the order. The order was made on the petition of New Zealand Insurance, which Mr Butler owed $9010.40.
Staff at Photo Engravers, Ltd, were turned out and the factory doors locked when that company and others in the Graphic Holdings group went into receivership in 1982. Creditmen-Duns, a debt collecting and credit reporting company, went into receivership earlier in 1982. Attempts to revive it failed.
